About the Maple Inn and Surrounding Area
The Maple Inn is located in the historic J.W.Barrett house, on Main Street, in the City of Maples.  Built in 1893, it was the home of Dr. J.W.Barrett, a prominent local physician, and his family.  In 1923, Dr. W. Roy Owen purchased the home and practiced medicine until 1960.  Meticulous renovations occurred in 2004 and 2012 to maintain all the charm and elegance and to transition it into a home Bed & Breakfast. The Maple Inn is located one block from beautiful downtown, where a variety of excellent eateries and shops await you.

Visit the Cedar River Complex during your stay.  They offer swimming, workout facilities, family entertainment in the theater, and houses the Mitchell County Historical Society Museum.
